Primary Responsibilities

Job Description:

The Supervisor, Receiving and Warehouse, oversees the workflow and delivery of products and materials, seeking increased efficiency and reduced costs, while ensuring that company procedures are followed. The Supervisor is responsible for all the raw and semi-finished goods inventory, along with direction of the receiving/material handlers. This position will report to the Manager of Supply Chain.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Direct and maintain compliance with all safety regulations, policies, procedures, and objectives ensuring the safety of all assigned personnel and equipment.
  • Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure that all activities within the department are in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure receiving area is always organized and clean and meets all compliance factors. Maintain warehouse areas by tracking material movements each day. Direct movement of materials to appropriate work areas.
  • Coordinate and facilitate all receiving of raw material, semi finished goods, and other miscellaneous items.
  • Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery.
  • Confirm daily data entry transactions to properly account for material movement, ensures proper preparation of all paperwork for receiving materials.
  • Lead daily, monthly, and yearly inventory counts of assigned areas.

Experience and Requirements
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for moving goods, including regulatory requirements.
